Welcome to The Möllenhook

In the beautiful countryside between the towns Varsseveld and Aalten, situated in the hamlet Lintelo directly besides cornmill the Wenninkmill is The Möllenhook. The Möllenhook (or the Molenhoek) is a lodging house composed of two terraced holiday apartments with stunning views over the meadows, where cows graze in the spring and summer. The perfect location to enjoy the nature, space and peace of the Achterhoek.

A former storage shed has been renovated using sustainable and ecological materials into two attractive-looking apartments. The existing structure, foundation and substructure of the shed were preserved during the renovation. Bulding materials were reused or obtained from leftovers. The exterior is finished with Douglas FSC wood. The inside walls are mostly finished with clay plaster, guaranteeing a good living climate. The insulation is made of flax and recycled clothing. 100% natural linseed oil and linseed wax have been used as finishers and the solar panels on the roof provide the necessary electricity. An infrared panel provides warmth during cold days.

During the summer season you can camp on the grounds of the Möllenhook.

A renovation is taking place in the forecourt of our yard, canteen / kitchen & sanitary facilities are moved to another place.
